And You Shall Be Free

Have you been sexually assaulted? Experienced a death that has stopped you in your tracks? Tried or been on the receiving end of a loved one attempting and/or committing suicide? Been physically, verbally, or emotionally abused in a relationship? If so, this book is for you. If you have experienced a form of trauma not listed, it is for you, too.

Trauma comes in many forms, but one thing remains consistent: If left unresolved, it will affect all areas of your life and leave you in a special hell that only those who have experienced it can relate to. Walk with Deanna as she takes you through her journey to freedom from various traumas that had held her captive for nearly forty years and see that you, too, can be free.

Listen to an interview with Deanna

“I had the privilege of reviewing Deanna Langworthy’s latest book, And You Shall Be Free, and it was a compelling page-turner! Deanna is authentic about her journey in biblical forgiveness regarding the trauma she has lived through and how practical God’s Word is to a person who is willing to obey Jesus no matter the cost. Deanna relates the details of being painfully violated, bullied, and misunderstood, but her journey ends in triumph instead of tragedy. You, too, can be set free if you do the work! It is never too late for a fresh start!”

Grace and Peace

Coming face to face with death forced Deanna to look at her life and reconsider her true relationship with God. It took only moments for her to realize she wasn’t ready to die, she was not ready to face her Maker. There was work she needed to do in her Christian life and in helping others. God had placed in her heart a deeper understanding of the true meaning of Grace and Peace. He provided her with a path and understanding she was to follow, a path that you too can follow. This path would provide a guide that would help others to attain a deeper sense of Grace and Peace in their lives too. Deanna’s book, Grace and Peace inspires its readers to move from a place of complacency in their relationship with God. It guides its readers to a deeper understanding of living daily with Grace and Peace to allow us to more fully understand how to trust in the Lord with all our hearts so we to can know the Grace and Peace we are meant to have here on earth.

Wow, I really enjoyed it! It (this book) is quite an amazing story of faith, courage, strength, and love, “written” in a down to earth conversational way.

About the Author

And You Shall Be Free is Deanna Langworthy’s second book, with her first being Grace and Peace. After having been set free from numerous traumas, Deanna is passionate about sharing the love of Christ with others while showing them the path to freedom. She is fully aware that it can be very easy as a Christian to fall into the trap of feeling as if you need to be perfect – saying the right things at the right times, never becoming angry, always being happy, and never questioning God. This isn’t reality, however, and Deanna writes to show others that they not only can, but should, be real in their life walk; and that they will find freedom and peace by walking in this reality with Jesus.

Deanna lives in Omaha, Nebraska and is the mother of two sons and the Grammy of three grandsons. In addition to being an author, Deanna is a public speaker who loves to guide others down the path to freedom and peace. She can be contacted regarding speaking engagements via her Facebook page titled Grace & Peace, or by emailing her at Graceandpeace.dl@gmail.com.
